What is it that makes me the right choice for you?
Passion, integrity, empathy and oodles of experience coupled with professional qualifications and decades of helping people achieve their financial ambitions; however, this matters little until you know how much I care.
Since 1991, I’ve been a professional adviser helping clients from all walks of life from the wealthy to those not so fortunate, but still in need of assistance in achieving their goals. Whether this is helping the children of clients or pro-bono advice at the Citizens Advice Bureau, everyone is treated to the same impartial and unbiased advice.
Having moved to Dubai early in 2010, I’m privileged to call it home and have integrated into society being an active member of the British Business Group Dubai and Northern Emirates.
Working largely by personal introduction and in conjunction with the legal and accountancy professions, we work together thereby ensuring you receive the most appropriate and impartial advice possible. Importantly, I will help you each step of the way and help you make informed decisions.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for those familiar with the initials, you will no doubt understand the importance of maintaining ones’ knowledge and keeping abreast of best practice. Typically, this means 50+ hours of study a year including formal exams and yes, I did leave school a very long time ago, but live by the mantra, “if you stop learning, you stop living.”
Why do I mention this? Because if I get a buzz out of sharing that commitment and passion for the industry then ultimately, that guarantees the very latest and best advice for my clients.
Over the years I have held the following voluntary positions:
Treasurer for the Wooden Spoon, a charity for disabled and disadvantaged youngsters.
Regional Chairman for the Personal Finance Society, my professional body and part of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Pro-bono work for Citizens Advice Bureau, a charity for those who cannot afford advice.
Pro-bono work for the Financial Services Authority.
Director for Focus Chairs with the British Business Group Dubai and Northern Emirates.
I help international workers and expatriates plan their finances. Providing unbiased and independent financial advice, I work with many of the world's major Banks and Financial Institutions covering many areas. I offer a free consultancy meeting lasting 1.5 hours in which we can review your current financial circumstances and suggest options to you that are designed for your money to work harder for you, and in a tax efficient way.
